In reading Light Bearers of Darkness p. 4, the Trinity of Illuminism – Cabalistic and Gnostic, is eerily similar to the Christian Trinity, consisting of “the Father – the generating fire; the Holy Spirit – the Great Mother Nature, reproducing all things; the Son – the manifestation, the vital fluid, the astral light of Illuminism.”
The author, Christina Stoddard, believes the Trinity of Catholic Church was perverted by Paganism and Gnosticism p. 39, but “The baptismal formula was changed from the name of Jesus Christ to the words Father, Son, and Holy Spirit by the Catholic Church in the second century” according to the Catholic Encyclopedia p. 263. This fact is also confirmed by Catholic Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger who stated that “The basic form of our (Matthew 28:19 Trinitarian) profession of faith took shape during the course of the second and third centuries in connection with the ceremony of baptism. So far as its place of origin is concerned, the text (Matthew 28:19) came from the city of Rome.” That is why baptism is in the name of Yahshua the Messiah in Acts 2:38, 8:12, 16, 10:48 & 19:5, Romans 6:3 and Gal 3:27.
The words found in the KJV in 1 John 5:7 – 8 “For there are three that bear witness in heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost, and these three are one, and there are three that bear witness on earth: the spirit, and the water, and the blood, and these three agree in one.”, are identified in a footnote in the NIV as being from “Late manuscripts of the Vulgate testify in heaven: the Father, the Word and the Holy Spirit, and these three are one. 8And there are three that testify on earth: the (not found in any Greek manuscript before the fourteenth century).” These words are part of the initiation ceremony described in Light Bearers of Darkness on p. 155 – 6, that the author calls ‘The Gnostic Trinity’.
Is it a surprise the very words that are used in Pagan ceremonies are found in all King James Bible’s – the same Bible found on Masonic altars?
Occult adepts were to swear on the “holy symbol (the white triangle – the Light of Illuminism) to observe all the rules of the order, and a white triangle is placed on the altar in the center of the Temple “for the manifestation of the Light, above it the red Calvary Cross of suffering, the means of attracting and establishing the light” p. 152 – 3. Stoddard describes on p. 178, the manifestation of this movement in her day, from Rachel Fox’s book The Finding of Shiloh, the work of the ‘triangle of workers’ is to “’spiritualize the material and materialize the spiritual’, that is to prepare ‘empty vessels’ fill them with light, forming light-bearers for the master’s work for the world.”
Today, on the Lucis Trust website in an article titled Triangles, they encourage people to form triangles to link thought each day in the Great Invocation, a world prayer, visualizing energies of light and goodwill circulating through the three focal points of their triangle, and pouring out through the network of triangles surrounding the planet. There is a video introducing the meditation practice of triangles, featuring interviews with Triangles practitioners. In the Great Invocation it states “May Christ return to Earth”, and they clarify that ‘Christ’ is known as the Lord Maitreya, the Imam Mahdi, the Kalki Avatar and the Bodhisattva. It all sounds quite nice, but Luci is short for Lucifer, so he is the god they worship!
The Trinity is the magic triangle of the occult, accepted by Christianity without question because their leaders tell them it is the truth.
In the book The Trail of the Serpent p. 219, author Christina Stoddard warns “As in this baptism, so in these initiations, some died, some were illuminized, losing their personalities, becoming controlled by some unknown Master, as for example Krishamurti of the Theosophical Society, ‘Octavia’ of the Panacea Society, and many others. The Illuminizing Power was the Gnostic Trinity – the Father, the generating force; the Holy Spirit, the Great Mother, the reproducer; the Son, the Cosmic Christ, the manifestation of the Creative Principle, the illuminizing force, of all Gnostic and Cabalistic sects.”
Although Stoddard was aware Christian Rosenkreutz was going to “reincarnate about 1926 – 33 by possessing himself of some adult body“ (see Light Bearers of Darkness p. 91), she didn’t know that someone was Rudolf Steiner (see the article Was Rudolf Steiner the Master Christian Rosenkreutz?)!
